Wellcare/Vaccinations
We believe it’s in the best interest of our pets and owners to practice proactive health care, which is why provide individualized preventative well care to ensure your pet continues to be healthy and happy. We recommend semi-annual health visits to catch changes in health or signs of disease early, which may include bloodwork, vaccines, and stool analysis.
Well care visits can include:
- Bloodwork – Annual health screens help us monitor for changes in liver or kidney values, look for anemia, signs of infection, and look for heartworm disease.
- Vaccines tailored to your pet’s lifestyle can include rabies, distemper (DHPPC), leptospirosis, bordetella and influenza for dogs and distempter (RCCP), leukemia and rabies for cats.
- Safe, effective heartworm, flea, and tick preventatives, as well as intestinal parasite control
- Stool analysis to look for signs of intestinal parasites
- Dental exam, which includes discussions about full dental cleanings and radiographs and home dental care.
- Radiographs to catch problems early
- Ear cleanings and nail trimming
- Discussing husbandry, diet and weight management, and training
We strive to provide comprehensive preventative wellcare services that allow you the peace of mind knowing your pet’s health is being well-monitored and well-maintained.
