What Makes Us Unique?

The Pet Resort and grooming Salon located in Clearwater, Florida is a state-of-the-art dog boarding, daycare and bathing facility – it’s essentially doggie day care.

What makes our pet resort unique is that we are affiliated with The Animal & Bird Hospital of Clearwater. While your pet is boarding if a problem should arise the veterinarians are available to help. While it may be something as simple as vomiting, diarrhea or an ear infection, problems recognized by our skilled vet staff will be handled at our hospital. You will be notified immediately before any treatment is instituted. Only if we are faced with a real life emergency and you are unreachable will we intervene to save your pet without talking to you first. Additionally, we are prepared to have your pet examined for any problems that concern you as well as updating vaccinations and lab work. Rest assured that your pet’s safety and health are our utmost concern. We are very fortunate to be able to rely on our skilled veterinarians next door – that is not the case in the majority of pet boarding facilities.

Our boarding facility is designed to allow your dog the most amount of free time possible out of a cage. We have several indoor areas for play and relaxing as well as a large 2,000 sq. ft. grassy back yard to run and play, as well as nighttime dog boarding suites. If your dog is having fun they will be much less stressed about missing you!

The Pet Resort Your Animals Deserve

Think of The Pet Resort and Grooming Salon as a “Bed and Breakfast” for your pets. It doesn’t matter if they spend the day at our bathing spa, stay overnight, or longer, they will get our undivided attention.

We offer nighttime boarding suites that can house single or multiple pet families. These suites are large indoor rooms that allow your pets the comfort to stretch and move around at night in a much larger area than a kennel can offer. Additional charges would apply for a boarding suite.

Please feel free to call as often as you would like to check on your pets from 9:00 AM to 5:45 PM Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Saturdays and Sunday boarding drop off / pick up from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM (* Sunday Boarding charges apply). We hope to accomplish many things as your pet’s caretaker. First and foremost, is the safety and security of your pet while in our care. Additionally, we offer a clean and friendly place for your pet to pass the time while away from you. With that in mind, we will find the right set of playmates to put together in our indoor playroom. Please let us know your pet’s likes and dislikes, it’s very helpful to us. We also need to know if your pet is not spayed or neutered. That can be a very difficult situation for a boarding facility, as you can imagine.

All pets in our boarding facility must be current on vaccinations for Rabies, Distemper/Parvo, Bordetella (Kennel Cough) given within 6 months, and Canine Influenza.

In order to protect your pet from ingesting parasitic eggs from feces from other boarders in the outside grass area, all dogs must have a stool exam upon entry into the facility. Additionally, all pets are given a safe flea medication to prevent any flea infestation. This is a Flea Free Zone.

We will administer oral medication, instill ear and/or eye drops twice a day for a fee of $4/day. More serious medical conditions requiring nursing care might need to be transferred to our boarding facility at the Animal and Bird Hospital next door. Additional costs may apply.

Please check our hours of operation. We close at 5:00pm on Saturdays, but we do offer Sunday pick up from 4pm-6pm. You will be charged for the Sunday night.

Upon exiting our facility, all pets will be bathed by our kennel staff or schedule a grooming if you prefer.
