Happy 30 Years!

This June marks Dr. Murphy’s thirtieth year as a veterinarian.

To all my clients,

This June marks my thirtieth year as a veterinarian. It has been my pleasure to have kissed and cuddled your pets along the way. I have also shared your smiles and tears. For that I am most thankful. It is my honor and privilege that you include me in your lives and the lives of your dear pets.

When I graduated from The University of Georgia in 1982, I took a job in Georgia. Back then, I would write on 3X5 index card to record my notes. The cards were kept in a box no more than ten inches long. I’m not joking! Now, much later, we have computers and websites, digital -radiology, ultrasound, surgical CO2 lasers and LLT therapy machines for pain management. It is truly incredible how far my profession has come in only thirty years.

I also have the privilege of working with two caring and knowledgeable doctors, Dr. Culpepper and Dr. Valentine. Additionally, I have a great staff that have become family to me. I hope you will come to know all of them as I do.

We want to always be there for you and help you take the best care of your pet that is possible. Please know we will always strive to do our best to find the answers to your problems and use the latest veterinary knowledge and equipment to do so.

These thirty years have gone buy on a flash.

I can’t wait to see what’s coming around the bend.
